HOW TO: Void a Payment with Virtual Terminal

• Navigate to Virtual Terminal from the Dashboard’s left hand navigation. 
  • IF you have multi-location access, select the appropriate location you’d like to refund a payment for. 
• Click the ‘Void/Refund’ tab. 

Look up a transaction to void: 

• Use the search bar to look up the last 4 digits of the card number or Auth ID. 

Process a Void: 

• On the desired transaction, click ‘Void’ button.

Note: the Void button will not be available if the transaction has already batched. After a transaction has batched you will then have to do a Refund.

• To confirm you want to void the transaction, click the ‘Void‘ button again in the pop-up modal. 

• Next, you’ll have the option to print a receipt or process another void by clicking the corresponding buttons.
