Castle Vega 3000- Change Connection Type
- Power-on the terminal by holding down the power button until the screen lights up
- The terminal will say “Please Wait” momentarily and then transition to a blank screen; hold down the “9” key until the terminal beeps.
- The terminal will search for available wifi networks. Select your desired network from the list by pressing the corresponding number
- Enter the network password and press enter
- To enter letters, press the button on the terminal associated with the letter you’re entering a number of times equal to the letter’s placement on the button
- The password is case sensitive; to enter lower case letters, press the corresponding button a number of times past the upper case letters until the screen reads the desired letter. For example, to enter a “B” press the “2” button twice; to enter a “e” press the “3” button 5 times
Troubleshooting: Castle Vega Mobile 3000- Restarting or Power Issues
If you are experiencing their Castle Vega Mobile 3000 restarting without prompting, at any time, it is recommended that you reset the terminal. If the unit runs out of battery, it is also recommended that you reset the terminal.
Hard Reset:
1. Unplug device from power
2. Remove the blue battery pack
3. Leave untouched for 20-30 seconds
4. Plug battery pack back in and replace the power
5. Turn unit back on

Troubleshooting: Castle Vega Mobile 3000 Won’t Turn On
If a Castle Vega Mobile will not turn on, follow these steps:
1. Unplug device from power
2. Remove the blue battery pack
3. Leave untouched for 20-30 seconds
4. Plug battery pack back in and replace the power
5. Turn unit back on

Troubleshooting: Castle Vega Mobile 3000 stuck on “please wait”
Upon device boot, the Castle Vega Mobile 3000 freezes on the loading screen that says “Please Wait” (this is after the screen that reads “USA ePay”). Here is how to troubleshoot this:
- Make sure the PWR KEY is set to OFF
- After powering-on device (WHILE IT’S BOOTING UP and before it gets to “USA ePay”), press/tap on the red key repeatedly until you get Program Manager
- Press 0 for System Menu
- Press 4 for Sys Settings
- Press 2 for second page
- Press # until you highlight the field PWR KEY OFF:
- Press enter
- Press # to change the N to a Y
- Press enter. it should now say PWR KEY OFF: Y
- Press the red key twice until you get back to program manager
- Press the green key to load USAePay program
- Turn off the device by pushing the power button, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on.
- Push Enter on the “USA ePay” screen
- When on the screen that says “Please Wait”, push and hold the number 9 until a menu comes up
- The device should go straight to “Searching for Wifi” and then they can choose the wifi network and add the wifi credentials.
