I’m Tanya Williamson and I’m an account consultant in Portland, OR. I’m a true native Oregonian, born and raised in Portland. 🙂 I went to University of Oregon – Go Ducks! But, finished my schooling back in Portland at Portland State University. I come from a family of six. My parents and my three siblings all live in Portland as well. We enjoy spending time together and plan family events often.
Over the past ten years, I have volunteered with a lot of different organizations where I’ve met people from all different walks of life. From at risk teenagers going into high school who have a high chance of dropping out to young children who come from undesirable living situations and need a mentor and someone who cares. All of these experiences have taught me compassion and have given me a different and valuable perspective on life. I would not be the person I am today if it weren’t for these experiences, which I am thankful for.
I use my background and experiences to contribute to Team Gravity by better serving our merchants. I genuinely care about our clients and their businesses. In an industry where merchants are easily and often taken advantage of, I pride myself on looking out for their best interest, not my own. When I put the merchant first, everything comes together the way it should.

- Favorite Food: When it comes to food, it’s hard to pick a favorite. So, I’ll list my top three! I love sushi, Mexican, and Thai food. Portland definitely has plenty of good food spots, so I have lots to choose from.
- Favorite Movie: Bridget Jones Diary and Bridesmaids. If you haven’t seen them, you should. They’re hilarious!
- Hobbies: When I’m not enjoying good food or watching funny movies, I love to go hiking, wine tasting, or on short weekend adventures with my husband. Oregon is perfect for all these things! The Gorge is full of beautiful hiking paths and trails, a lot of which have waterfalls. The Willamette Valley is perfect for wine tasting with hundreds of wineries to choose from. For weekend adventures, we can go to Hood River to watch the kite boarders and swim in the river. We can head over to the coast and enjoy all the cute beach towns or we can head up to Mt. Hood for a weekend on the mountain. All of these fun weekend trips are within an hour of Portland. It’s great! If you can’t tell, I really do love where I live!
