I was born and raised in a smaller city in Utah – Ogden. I enjoyed my early adult years in Salt Lake City as a post modern industrial punk with no direction and even less drive. Life caught up to me fast, so I moved even faster. I studied multimedia design and spent my formative career days with a SLC education marketing agency for 15 years.
After my wife and I spent almost all of our vacations visiting Seattle, we thought it may just be better to live there and visit other places. I was lucky enough that Gravity was in need of a Devsigner (Dev + Designer). My wife and two kids moved to Seattle and feel like this is home. My family and children have made me the person I am today. I want to be more to support them, teach them, and experience life through them. And coffee.
Gravity has been a great place for me to work on a lot of projects. I’m lucky enough to be doing art direction, branding, web design, web dev, video and audio production, interior design, UI/UX. I’ve made logos, flyers, t-shirts, infographics, websites, postcards, stickers, signage, admin panels, landing pages, and short videos. I’ve done user research, mock-ups, wireframes, scripts, banners, live audio, and I’ve been on kitchen duty twice!
It truly has been magical.
