I was born and raised in the PNW, graduated from the UW Foster School of Business in Accounting & Finance, and grew up mostly in Bellevue with my parents, two younger brothers, and our dog. I currently live in Queen Anne with my girlfriend of nearly three years. I’m a big sports fan. The Seahawks, Mariners, and Huskies take a lot of my free time throughout the year.
Being the oldest of three boys, I was always trying to set a good example for my younger brothers. We were always super competitive, which has certainly rubbed off on me in my personal and professional life. I worked outdoors landscaping/construction quite a bit throughout my life, so I feel like I have a good grasp on what it’s like to put in a long day’s work. I also worked in the foodservice industry and know what it’s like to serve people. I’ve been in leadership positions throughout my life, although I am generally more introverted.
My competitive nature helps drive me to do better personally, as well as to have Gravity beat out the competitors. I know how to stay calm and respect those you are providing a service to, even if they may not be the most respectful themselves. I try to push myself to do better every day and improve myself in one way or another. I may not be the most vocal person, but I try to lead by example.
- Favorite Food: Pizza. No question.
- Favorite Movie: The Departed
- Favorite Book: A Song of Ice and Fire series
- Favorite Gravity Merchant: Pecado Bueno. Great food, fun atmosphere, and have worked with them quite a bit over the years. It’s been cool to see them grow as much as they have while using Gravity as a resource.
