Chase’s Story
I was born in Boca Raton, FL to two chefs. My mom is a pastry chef and my dad is an executive chef. I moved to Washington in 2010 and attended Western Washington University where I received a B.S. in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management. I played tuba throughout grade school and speak conversational Mandarin Chinese.
At 13, I started working alongside my Dad in restaurant kitchens. I continued all through high-school, and was able to hire and train my own team. This experience forged my infallible work ethic and gave me a chance to lead others from a young age. It also allowed me to develop and hone mad cooking skills, which I use to this day to fatten up my friends and family. Learning Mandarin and traveling to China has drastically changed the way I view the world and the future we will live in. Some of my greatest experiences and friends are tied directly to my decision to study Mandarin. Without studying Chinese, I would have never met my wife, Shirley, who is from the beautiful garden city of Hangzhou, China.
